Game Idea

  • Battalion Wars: Final Fronts

As with most of my games, this is a sequel (or spinoff) from a current series. In this particular one, there are different stories depending on what legion you chose to play as (e.g. if you choose Solar Empire, you might fight during the lighting wars, but if you choose Xylvania you play their rise to power after their defeat at the end of BW1). Every side has every unit (in previous games not everyone had strato destroyers or battlestations).

While playing, when you move to the map, you can select a unit to become it, making it easier to become any unit anywhere across the map. Mosty levels are open plan. When you capture buildings, you can select them to generate units (costing points found during the level). Winning missions gives you extra points to spend in the next level or on upgraded to upgrade your units (Rifle grunts have double ammo, or give them grenades or a jetpack). There are non playable units, all one shot kills, on both sides, so hundreds of them run into battle, giving a good feel of war. You can call in air strikes and neuclear missiles, or call an assault (of these one hit soldiers) at a location to draw the fire away from your battalion.

What the last game didnt have was a skirmish mode. Now you can play as any army against any enemy (up to four teams a map). Choose what units you're going to send in and win by either killing every enemy, capturing all bases or holding the Staff od Qa'Len for 10 minutes.

Upgrades spent on soldiers will continue for online and skirmish. However, if you buy upgrades for Solar empire units, you have to buy them again for Tundran units.

The factions are: Solar Empire, Western Frontier, Anglo Isles, Franco Resistance (French), Xylvania, Iron Legion, Tundran Territories, Eastern Alliance (Middle East), ECF (Europes Combined Forces), and Army of Light (Ancient Solar Empire).

Any more ideas? Im all ears...cya
